Crour

Crour Overview

The “Crour Formula” is an alchemical potion which people often take to temporarily increase their physical abilities, numb pain, or even to experience altered states of consciousness. The formula comes with high risk as it also allows some of its users to – as they describe it – “see the true nature of life.” Alchemists say that this phenomenon is described when users see the raw, primal, and magical energies of the world, which can become quite addictive.

For the untrained mind, the power of the “Crour Formula” can cause a person to “break,” and go berserk for a short time. Taken too often, “Crour Formula” alters a person’s body and mind drastically, so that they become a new Race - a “Crour.”

Crours permanently grow horns, and have enlarged bodies. Having somewhat adapted to their new state, they’re most often in control of themselves, though they’re sometimes helpless while their berserk alter-ego takes over.

Often looked down upon in civilized lands, Crour are highly valued for their raw physical strength in the wild country, where a person’s life may be determined by their ability to fight.
